Research Ethics 101 is a general introduction to research ethics and highlights ethical issues in patient-oriented research in child health. It is primarily intended for patients and families but can be taken by anyone interested in learning more about ethics and patient-oriented research.
In this module, users will learn about:
- Key principles of research ethics
- Examples of violations of research ethics
- The ethics review process for health research in Canada
- Ethical issues specific to patient-oriented research in child health
This module will take approximately 30 minutes to complete.
